General Policies

We welcome you to The Klamath Inn! We are a small establishment and wish all of our guests a pleasant and restful stay. Please read the following policies for your information.

Cancellation Policies:

  • Every guest reservation is important to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least seven (7) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and you will only be charged a $35 processing fee per room.

  • In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.

  • The balance of your reservation will be charged in full at booking.

Rates & Policies:

  • Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods or with special requests.

  • Rates are based on two persons per room, and include a full breakfast and afternoon tea paired with something sweet.

Tax:

  • A 1.5% Oregon Lodging Tax and 8% City of Klamath Falls Local Lodging Tax will be applied to the nightly base rate.

Arrival & Departure Times:

  • Check-in is between 3PM and 7PM. Please do not arrive before 3PM. We are a small inn with a small staff and need all of our available time to prepare our rooms and shared areas properly for arriving guests. We thank you for your understanding. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements. The latest time we will allow for check in is 8pm with special arrangements. This is to ensure that we do not disturb guests who may be sleeping.

Breakfast:

  • Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am. Special arrangements can be made for an earlier start to your day. Please reach out to your host.

  • Check-out: 11:00 AM. No late check-outs.

Parking:

  • Free overnight and daily parking for registered guests is available at the inn. Guests with oversized vehicles will need to contact us.

Shared Bathrooms:

  • Please note that as this home was originally built as a family residence, several rooms on both floors will share a hallway bathroom.

  • The Pelican and The Whitetail share the main floor bathroom.

  • The Crane & The Swan share the 2nd floor bathroom.

  • The Peregrine has its own ensuite half bathroom, but guests would need to utilize the shower of the 2nd floor bathroom, sharing with The Crane & Swan rooms.

  • The Roosevelt has its own ensuite full bathroom with both a soaking tub and shower.

Children:

  • We are an adult oriented B&B but children over the age of 12 are welcome. Please call for special considerations. Children are never to be left alone at the inn. You must be 21 years of age to book and stay with us, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. All guests must provide a valid form of government issued identification and a valid credit card upon check-in.

Family Accommodations:

  • We have 2 adjoining rooms on the main floor that would accommodate a family of 4 and can be rented together. The Whitetail has a queen bed and the Pelican room has twin beds.

Pets:

  • Please note, especially those with allergies, that the inn has a resident dog named Ida, a German Shorthaired Pointer.

  • No Pets allowed at this time.

Smoking:

  • The Klamath Inn has a strict non-smoking and non-vaping policy. For the health and safety of our guests, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises. A $250 surcharge will be applied to any room where this policy is non-compliant.

Quiet Hours:

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am out of courtesy to all our guests.

Damages:

  • While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence and may be subject to a deep cleaning fee of $250.

Lost Keys:

  • Lost keys will be subject to a $175 locksmith fee.

  • Please let us know immediately should you have any issues with your room or encounter any hazardous situations that you need to bring to our attention. Thank you so much and enjoy your stay!
